Description

Stetra Band is a flexible polyethylene waterproofing tape that seals joints and membrane connections watertight. Thanks to its low profile, it lies smooth and even, and its surface finish ensures excellent adhesion to mortars and sealants, so the joint is strong and durable.

The tape is designed for sealing linear joints between wall and floor and connections of waterproofing membranes in waterproofing systems. It is suitable for indoor wet areas such as:

  • shower walls, wellness areas and bathrooms,
  • connecting waterproofing membranes to shower trays, bathtubs or washbasins,
  • construction and expansion joints that require flexibility and watertightness.

Installation is quick and simple: the tape is laid over the edges of the membrane with an overlap of at least 5 cm and bedded in a suitable adhesive or mortar. This creates a continuous waterproofing system resistant to leaks that works reliably even in areas subject to structural movement.
